At Creative Counseling, LLC, we offer a number of services to meet the needs of our clients. Our behavioral health services are designed to support children, adolescents, adults, and seniors who are struggling with a mental health problem. We are committed to treating the whole person and promoting overall wellness.
We firmly believe that people seeking help for mental illness should feel comfortable and supported. In fact, we take great care to ensure that our clients feel safe and welcome in our behavioral health outpatient treatment center.
Our services include:
- Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment
Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST) is an inclusive service that focuses on reducing the disability caused by a mental illness; restoring functional daily living skills; and developing effective interventions to achieve individualized treatment goals. It may also include individual counseling with solution-focused interventions; emotional and behavioral management; identifying strengths, needs, appropriate support resources; and identifying and avoiding triggers. It is a face-to-face intervention with the patient present; however, family members may also be involved.
- Psychosocial Rehabilitation
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (also known as psychiatric rehabilitation) is designed to help patients with mental illness or mental health concerns. Instead of focusing on the patient’s problems, it focuses more on their assessed strengths. Meaning, individual goal setting and treatments are based on the person’s strengths. The goal of psychosocial rehabilitation is to help patients develop skills and access resources required so that they can be successful in the working, learning, living, and social environments of their own choice. Through our psychosocial rehabilitation service, we strive to promote successful community integration, personal recovery, and an improved quality of life.
- Crisis Intervention
Crisis Intervention refers to supports provided to offer immediate, short-term assistance to individuals who have experienced an event that produces emotional, behavioral, and/or mental distress. Crisis intervention experts visit people in their homes, community, hospital emergency rooms, or in other areas where support is needed.
